Hiking

Hieroglyphic Canyon

After a few months of inactivity (grad school applications, holidays, and a case of the winter blues), I wanted my re-entry into adventure to be slow and easy. Really easy.

Hieroglyphic Canyon is nothing in comparison to the hiking I’d been doing a few months ago. Anyone can make the 2 mile round trip, and they do. Privacy is not this hike’s selling point.

Another disappointment was the name…I didn’t see a single Hieroglyphic the entire time. Petroglyphs, though, I did see, although many are worn down because idiot parents let their kids climb all over them.
